Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Specialist. He/She will play a crucial role in maintaining and strengthening client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth. He/She will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, from initial consultation to post-event follow-up. They act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision is understood and executed flawlessly. This role requires a blend of relationship management, problem-solving, and strategic thinking to foster long-term client partnerships. Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Planning: -- Proactively identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including: - Wedding and event venues (Hotels, Resorts & Banquets) to become a preferred decor partner. - Corporate clients for potential event decor needs. - Other relevant businesses (e.g., caterers, photographers) for referral partnerships. -- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial relationships. -- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration and identifying new avenues for growth. -- Stay updated on current wedding decor trends, styles, and competitor offerings. Lead Management & Conversion: - Effectively manage and follow up on all incoming leads and inquiries from potential wedding clients. - Conduct consultations with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for wedding decor. - Present the company's decor services, packages, and creative concepts in a compelling manner. - Develop and present customized decor proposals and quotations that align with client needs. - Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure bookings and achieve sales targets. Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with prospective and current clients. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process. - Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction. - Address client queries and concerns promptly and professionally. - Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Decor Design team to communicate client requirements and ensure the feasibility of decor plans. - Coordinate with the Operations team for seamless handover of confirmed bookings and to ensure proper execution of decor setups. - Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide insights on client needs and feedback for marketing campaigns. Sales Reporting & Administration: - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and booking details. - Prepare regular sales reports for the management team, outlining progress against targets. - Ensure all sales-related documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. Feedback Loop: - Gather and analyze feedback from partners and the market regarding service offerings, pricing, and overall satisfaction. - Communicate key insights to the design, marketing, and operations teams to improve services, refine strategies, and address evolving client needs. - Conduct regular surveys or focus groups to gain a deeper understanding of client preferences and market trends Qualifications: - Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in sales, preferably within the wedding, event, or service industry. - Strong understanding of wedding decor concepts, trends, and styles. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-oriented approach. - Exceptional customer service and client management abilities. - Ability to understand client needs and translate them into creative solutions. - Well-organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (if applicable). - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required to meet with clients and attend events.
