Sales & Marketing Executive

Role Overview

This is an active field-based role that requires regular local travel within the city/region. You will visit educational institutions, religious venues, performance halls, sound studios, and event spaces to showcase our musical instruments and sound solutions. Your primary goal is to generate leads, conduct product demos, pitch tailored sound setups, and secure institutional contracts and bulk orders.

Key Responsibilities

Field Visits & Business Outreach

• Conduct daily on-site visits to Schools, Colleges, Music Academies, Churches, Auditoriums, Community Centers, and Recording Studios.
• Identify decision-makers (School Directors, Music Department Heads, Choir Masters, Auditorium Administrators, Event Managers) to initiate business discussions.
• Pitch tailored packages including musical instruments, choir sound systems, auditorium PA gear, mixers, and acoustic essentials.
• Prepare and present customized quotations, proposals, and tender bids for institutional purchases and audio system upgrades.
• Negotiate deal terms and close orders to achieve monthly and quarterly institutional sales targets.

Relationship Management & After-Sales

• Build long-term partnerships with institutional clients for ongoing requirements, maintenance contracts, and upgrades.
• Maintain an accurate log of daily field visits, leads generated, and follow-up activities using CRM tools or daily reporting sheets.
• Coordinate with the store/warehouse team for smooth delivery, installation, and after-sales service.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Any Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in field sales, B2B marketing, or institutional sales (experience in audio/visual, musical equipment, or event supply industries is a strong advantage).
• Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel daily within the local area/city for client meetings. Must hold a valid driver’s license and own a two-wheeler for field travel.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with musical instruments (keyboards, guitars, drums) and sound systems (microphones, speakers, mixers, amplifiers) is highly preferred.
• Skills:
• Excellent face-to-face communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong negotiation and lead closure abilities.
• Self-driven, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in Tamil and English.
