Job Title: Sales Manager Location: Vijayabharati Motors – Tata Dealership Department: Sales Reports to: General Manager / Dealer Principal Experience Required: Minimum 5–7 years in automobile sales, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role Job Purpose: To lead and manage the sales team, ensuring achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability. The Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing effective strategies to drive vehicle sales and enhance brand presence in the market. Key Responsibilities: Lead and motivate a team of sales consultants to achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Monitor daily sales performance and provide regular updates to senior management. Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews to enhance skills and productivity. Plan and execute local marketing campaigns and customer engagement activities. Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Coordinate with the finance and insurance team to close deals smoothly. Analyze market trends and competitor performance to identify opportunities and threats. Ensure proper display, documentation, and stock availability of vehicles. Adhere to Tata Motors' sales processes, systems, and standards. Maintain and manage DMS (Dealer Management System) reports and customer database. Skills & Competencies Required: Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of automobile sales processes Result-oriented with a proactive approach Customer-centric mindset Good understanding of DMS and CRM systems Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) – Any discipline. MBA in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage.
