Job Description

The Sales Coordinator in the textile industry supports the sales team in achieving business targets by managing client communication, handling order processing, coordinating between departments, and maintaining accurate records. The role ensures a smooth sales operation and excellent customer service to both existing and potential clients. Key Responsibilities: Sales Support & Coordination Assist the sales team in day-to-day operations including preparing quotations, follow-ups, and customer communications. Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Monitor order processing from inquiry to dispatch, ensuring deadlines and specifications are met. Customer Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with existing clients by providing regular updates on orders and resolving queries or complaints promptly. Support in onboarding new clients and maintaining updated client databases. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and manage sales documents including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes. Maintain accurate sales records and prepare reports for management on sales performance, forecasts, and client feedback. Communication & Liaison Act as a link between the sales team and internal departments to facilitate smooth workflow. Coordinate client visits, meetings, and presentations when necessary. Market & Product Awareness Stay informed about textile product lines, pricing, lead times, and inventory. Assist in market research and competitor analysis as required by the sales team. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. (Textile background is a plus) 2–5 years of experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably in the textile or garment industry Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP/CRM systems knowledge is a plus Understanding of textile industry terms, processes, and product categories Key Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Customer-focused with problem-solving attitude Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting Team player with proactive and positive attitude Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
