Role & responsibilities Oversee end-to-end production activities including RO/ EDI water generation, blending, filtration, and filling. Monitor and maintain critical parameters such as conductivity, urea concentration, pH, temperature, and ensure final product quality meets specifications. Plan daily/weekly/ monthly production schedules based on demand and inventory. Coordinate with the quality control team for raw material testing and finished product approval. Supervise operators, technicians, helpers, and ensure effective manpower utilization. Conduct training for staff on production processes, equipment handling, and safety. Ensure proper shift management, work allocation, and discipline within the plant. Monitor the performance of RO plant, EDI, storage tanks, filters, dispensers, filling machinery, and utilities (air compressor, pumps). All preventive and breakdown maintenance responsibilities must be managed independently Maintain logs of equipment performance, downtime, and corrective actions. Ensure timely availability of raw materials. Maintain sufficient levels inventory, packaging stock, spare parts. Verify GRN, consumption reports, and maintain daily production and stock reports. Ensure proper usage of PPE by all workers. Maintain safe working practices, spill management, chemical storage norms. Implement 5S, housekeeping, and maintain a hygienic & safe production environment. Maintain production MIS, batch records, QC reports, consumption logs, and daily performance reports. Submit weekly production, quality, and wastage reports to Plant Head/Management. Track KPIs like yield, rejection %, cost per liter, downtime, etc. Preferred candidate profile Mandatory Experience 3 to 4 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, water treatment, FMCG liquid plants, or similar process industries. Hands-on experience with RO/DM/EDI water systems, blending, filtration, and packaging operations. Experience in leading a small-to-medium production team. Key Skills Required Strong understanding of chemical processes and water purification systems. Production planning, manpower handling, and shift supervision. Troubleshooting of RO/DM plants, pumps, and filling machinery. Strong documentation skills and computer proficiency (ERP, MS Office). Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
