Internal Quality Engineer Post: Internal Quality Engineer Qualification: B.E / Diploma – Mechanical Experience: 1 to 3 years Job Summary We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Internal Quality Engineer responsible for monitoring and assessing production processes, inspecting products for quality assurance, interacting with customers, and collecting valuable product feedback. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail and strong proficiency in quality systems to maintain and enhance product quality standards within the organization. Brief Scope of Job Ensure parts are produced as per customer-defined quality standards. Analyze data collected from inspection processes and take corrective actions. Ensure implementation of quality standards throughout the organization. Roles & Responsibilities Conduct sampling inspection for in-house parts and supplier semi-finished/finished parts and maintain records. Use Contour Measuring Machine, VMM Machine & Hardness Testing Equipment for daily inspections and record results. Communicate quality issues with internal production teams and other departments. Resolve quality problems and maintain CAPA records. Maintain MOM (Minutes of Meeting) and related documentation. Ensure proper documentation, calibration records, layout audits, SPC, MSA etc. Handle internal audits and maintain findings. Monitor Visual Inspectors’ daily records and Internal PPM data. Facilitate ERP transfers between Production / Quality / Dispatch / Rework / Rejection. Execute inspection plans, reduce rejection levels, improve manpower efficiency, reduce waste. Support laser marking machine program updates, FPIR, and packaging standard related work. Add/update part in Fixed Vision / Optical Sorting Machine. Add/update gauges in ERP, maintain weighing scale data. Daily rejection monitoring and control. Act as liaison between QC Head and internal team for problem-solving. Work on continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with all levels – internal and external. Knowledge Requirements Measuring instruments & quality check procedures. Basic heat treatment & surface treatment knowledge. Attribute gauges and their limitations. IATF 16949:2016 documentation. GD&T and engineering drawing reading. SPC, MSA, Layout reports, Product/Process/5S Audit, PPAP. QC tools such as CAPA, 8D, 7QC Tools. Skills Required Measuring instrument handling. VMM, Contour Machine, Surface Roughness Tester, Height Gauge operation. Data analysis & report preparation. MS Office, ERP usage. Strong communication skills – English, Hindi, Marathi. Vendor coordination with timely delivery and quality achievement.
