Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities Area Sales Manager Plan and implement area-wise sales strategies to achieve monthly and yearly targets. Manage, guide, and monitor the performance of the field sales team (Sales Officers / Executives). Appoint new distributors and retailers to expand market coverage. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, hospitals, and key customers. Ensure proper product availability and stock planning across the assigned area. Monitor primary and secondary sales and ensure healthy stock rotation. Conduct regular market visits to understand competitor activity and market trends. Execute promotional activities, schemes, and brand visibility plans. Collect payments from distributors as per company policy and ensure healthy outstanding levels. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management. Train and motivate the sales team to improve productivity and market reach. Handle customer grievances and resolve market-related issues quickly. Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and finance teams for smooth operations.
