Role & responsibilities Plan and organize materials that allow for children's exploration. Ensure encouragement of childrens natural abilities to play as a way of understanding their world. Use songs, movement activities and read-alouds to introduce confident use of language. Provide support to carers as they gradually separate or as they gradually leave the classroom. Pastoral Care & Child Development Facilitate social and emotional development for each unique individual. Begin to develop confidence and encourage independent actions. Foster positive values such as respect and kindness. Communicate regularly with parents. Collaboration & Professionalism Collaborate with teaching teams within the school. Contribute to school events and celebrations. Attend workshops and professional development as offered. Maintain compliance with school policies and expectations.
