Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SolidWorks Design Executive to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings for machine components and systems using SolidWorks. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and manufacturing awareness. Key Responsibilities:Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks Design machine components, sheet metal parts, weldments, and fabricated assemblies Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, procurement, QC) to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness Revise and update existing drawings and documentation as per engineering change requests Perform tolerance analysis and GD&T application as per fitment and function Maintain and manage CAD libraries and design data Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) and ensure alignment with ERP systems Assist in prototyping, testing, and resolving technical issues during assembly Support R&D initiatives for product improvement and innovation Key Skills & Competencies:Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Weldments, Sheet Metal, and Surfacing) Good understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes (CNC machining, fabrication, casting, etc.) Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and design standards Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Familiarity with PDM systems and design documentation Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Qualifications:Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Certification in SolidWorks (optional but preferred) Experience in design of machine tools / industrial machinery / automation systems will be a strong plus
