Job Description - Safety Officer (Project Site) The Safety Officer will ensure complete compliance with HSE standards during steel structure erection and sheeting works at the Vedanta Amona DIP Plant project. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing the lifting plan, conducting daily toolbox talks, monitoring work-at-height and crane/manlift operations, inspecting lifting tools and tackles, and enforcing PPE usage. The officer will perform routine site inspections, identify hazards, ensure corrective actions, maintain all safety documentation, coordinate emergency preparedness, and interface with the client's HSE team. The Safety Officer must proactively promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe, incident-free execution throughout the project.
