Safety Officer Manufacturing

Position: Safety Officer from Manufacturing Background.

Location: Sanga Reddy, Hyderabad, Telangana

Salary: 40,000 to 45,000 Negotiable as per current salary

Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a safety officer or related role.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment and Management:

Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses.

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.

Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.

Prepare reports on safety performance and recommend improvements.

Training and Education:

Conduct safety training sessions for employees.

Educate staff on emergency procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and safe work practices.

Develop training materials and manuals.

Incident Investigation:

Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine causes.

Prepare incident reports and make recommendations to prevent recurrence.

Work with management to implement corrective actions.

Safety Inspections:

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work practices.

Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and used correctly.

Identify and address any safety deficiencies.

Emergency Response:

Develop and implement emergency response plans.

Coordinate emergency drills and training exercises.

Act as a point of contact during emergency situations.

Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety training.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports.

Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
