Job Title: Estimator – Interior Design Experience: 1–2 Years Location: MANGALORE KARNATAKA INDIA Employment Type: FULL TIME Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with 1–2 years of experience in the interior design or fit-out industry . The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for interior design projects, analyzing project requirements, sourcing materials, and coordinating with suppliers and design teams to ensure cost-effective and timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior design and fit-out projects. Study design drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Identify quantity and cost of materials, labor, and time requirements. Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and pricing sheets. Assist in value engineering and cost optimization strategies. Coordinate with project managers and designers for any cost-related input. Maintain a database of suppliers, prices, and historical project costs. Assist in tender submissions and budgeting. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, or a related field. 1–2 years of proven experience as an estimator in an interior design or fit-out company. Knowledge of market rates, materials, and vendors related to interiors and joinery. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software. Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. Good communication and negotiation skills. Job Type: Full-time
