Job Description: Area Sales Manager FMCG (Food & Beverages) Location : Maharashtra, Odisha & Rajasthan Department : Sales Experience Required : 4-8 years in FMCG Sales Reports To : Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales Head Employment Type : Full-time CTC : 4-6 LPA Company Overview Saarang International Food & Beverages Pvt. Join us as we scale new heights in the food & beverage industry. Key Responsibilities Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned area. Develop and manage distributors and stockists , ensuring adequate stock levels and timely billing. Drive retail execution across General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels. Supervise and guide a team of Sales Officers / Territory Sales Executives to achieve monthly objectives. Plan and execute trade promotions, schemes, and product launches at the local level. Conduct regular market visits , competitor analysis, and track outlet performance metrics. Coordinate with logistics, finance, and supply chain teams for smooth order fulfillment. Ensure compliance with company policies, systems, and reporting tools (MIS, CRM apps, etc.). Build strong relationships with key retailers and channel partners. Candidate Requirements Education : Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred). Experience : Minimum 48 years of relevant experience in FMCG Sales (Food & Beverage experience is a plus). Proven success in handling a sales territory, managing a field sales team, and working with distributors. Strong knowledge of local geography, retail structure, and consumer buying behavior . Proficient in using Excel, Sales CRMs, DMS, and reporting dashboards . Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
