Process Design & Engineering Develop and review process design packages (PFDs, P&IDs, mass & energy balances) for CBG plants. Design and optimize anaerobic digesters, gas purification systems (H₂S removal, CO₂ removal, moisture removal), and CBG compression & storage systems. Select and size equipment: digesters, pumps, agitators, scrubbers, chillers, PSA/membrane units, compressors, storage cascades, dispensers. Ensure compliance with national standards (BIS, PESO, PNGRB, SATAT guidelines). 2. Project Execution Provide process technical oversight during EPC phases—engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning. Participate in HAZOP/HAZID and risk assessments. Support factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT). 3. Operations & Performance Optimization Lead troubleshooting of process issues across digestion, upgrading, and compression units. Monitor process KPIs: biogas yield, methane %, COD reduction, plant uptime, energy efficiency. Develop SOPs, start-up/shutdown procedures, and emergency response protocols. Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance gas quality and throughput. 4. Safety & Regulatory Compliance Ensure adherence to PESO safety standards for CBG storage and dispensing systems. Implement process safety management (PSM), operator training, and environmental compliance. Ensure zero non-compliances in audits and statutory inspections. 5. Cross-Functional Coordination Work with operations, mechanical, electrical, civil and instrumentation teams. Coordinate with technology licensors, consultants, and vendors. Provide technical inputs for business development, tenders, and project cost estimates. Minimum of 6 years total experience required 3+ years specifically in biogas/CBG, anaerobic digestion Experience in EPC, process design, commissioning preferred
