Job Title: STP Sales Engineer (Sewage Treatment Plant Sales) Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled STP Sales Engineer to promote and sell Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and water treatment solutions. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and managing client relationships from inquiry to project closure. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities in STP/ETP and water treatment projects. Visit consultants, contractors, real estate developers, industrial clients, and government authorities. Generate leads through market research, networking, and client visits. 2. Technical Responsibilities Study tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications. Prepare technical proposals, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and basic plant layouts. Select appropriate treatment technology (MBBR, MBR, SBR, etc.) based on project requirements. Coordinate with engineering and design teams for final technical submissions. 3. Commercial Activities Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and commercial offers. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contract conditions with clients. Support contract finalization and project handover. 4. Client Coordination Act as the key point of contact for clients during sales and pre-execution stages. Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations. Handle technical queries and clarifications from clients and consultants. 5. Market & Competitor Analysis Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market demand. Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management. Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering. 2–6 years of experience in STP/ETP sales or wastewater treatment projects. Strong understanding of water & wastewater treatment processes. Skills Required: Good knowledge of STP technologies (MBBR, MBR, SBR, etc.) Ability to read technical drawings and specifications Strong communication and presentation skills Negotiation and closing skills Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD (basic understanding preferred) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monthly/quarterly sales targets achieved Number of new leads generated Proposal conversion rate Client satisfaction and repeat business Working Conditions: Field-based role with frequent site visits Travel required within assigned territory May require working beyond standard office hours during tender deadlines
