Role & responsibilities Oversee routine vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption and implement preventive maintenance strategies. Recruitment of quality drivers to the fleet. Devise fleet management strategies and ensure its timely execution. Register and License all Vehicles and Drivers as per Legal and Statutory Norms. Analyse driver performance and utilisation of vehicle/Comply with the Transportation Law and ensure drivers adhere to the driving laws. Ensure vehicle inspections and timely maintenance to reduce vehicle downtime. Monitor drivers behaviour and ensure customer satisfaction. Use the GPS tracking system to monitor drivers and vehicles. Manage the drivers and their job roles, and ensure that they stick to the rules and regulations set in place by the company. Ensure maximum fuel efficiency through effective fuel management/ Conduct periodic surveys and inspections of the vehicles and ensure that they are up to par to maximise productivity.
