Job Title: Russian Language Teacher

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Russian Language Teacher to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Russian language (speaking, reading, and writing) to students of varying age groups and proficiency levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Russian language lessons (beginner to advanced levels).
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments tailored to students’ needs.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and conversational skills.
• Incorporate cultural aspects of Russia to enhance language learning.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain student records and prepare reports when required.
• Create an interactive and positive classroom environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Russian Language, Literature, Linguistics, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Russian language teacher or trainer (preferred).
• Native or near-native proficiency in Russian (spoken and written).
• Good command of English (and knowledge of Tamil is an added advantage).
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage students with innovative teaching methods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language (TRKI/TORFL or equivalent).
• Experience teaching in schools, colleges, or language institutes.
