Job Title: Quality & Production Supervisor – Powder Coating (Control Panel Manufacturing) Location: L-237 Nagapur midc ,Ahmednagar Maharashtra Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a Quality and Production Supervisor with hands-on experience in powder coating supervision , specifically for control panel fabrication . The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge in metal finishing , coating processes , and panel manufacturing standards . The role involves overseeing the entire powder coating operation, ensuring consistent quality, maintaining production targets, and supervising coating and fabrication teams. Key Responsibilities:Production Supervision: Supervise day-to-day operations in powder coating and panel fabrication areas. Manage production schedules for APFC panels, single-phase meter boxes, agricultural boxes, generator panels, and other electrical enclosures . Coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for powder coating lines. Powder Coating Supervision: Oversee surface preparation, pretreatment, coating application, and curing processes. Monitor powder quality, thickness, adhesion, and finish according to product specifications. Ensure proper handling and use of spray guns, booths, curing ovens, and coating materials. Troubleshoot coating defects such as peeling, poor adhesion, orange peel, or uneven finish. Quality Control: Inspect incoming raw materials, powder, and final finished panels for conformance to quality standards. Maintain records of coating batch reports, inspection reports, and test results. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework, wastage, and improve finish quality. Coordinate with the quality team for ISO, CE, or IEC certification requirements. Team Management: Lead and train coating line operators and helpers. Enforce safety regulations and ensure use of PPE and workplace hygiene. Ensure manpower efficiency and monitor operator performance. Candidate Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in powder coating supervision in the control panel or metal box industry . Knowledge of coating standards Familiar with various types of control panel boxes such as: APFC Panels Single-Phase & Three-Phase Meter Boxes Agricultural Panel Boxes Generator and Distribution Boxes Custom Enclosures and Sheet Metal Cabinets Strong understanding of powder coating processes , equipment handling, and panel design basics .
