Position We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled K-3 Music Teacher to inspire a love of music in our youngest students. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator dedicated to fostering musical literacy, creativity, and performance skills across kindergarten through third grade. Duties and Responsibilities Possess strong choral conducting skills to lead and develop engaging primary-level choirs. Plan, prepare, and deliver a comprehensive and dynamic music curriculum that engages students in singing, movement, listening, and musical exploration. Plan, prepare and execute dynamic performances throughout the school year, providing students with memorable opportunities to showcase their skills. Training in the Orff Schulwerk and/ or Kodaly approach is considered a significant asset for incorporating movement, singing, playing instruments, and improvisation. Prior experience with instrumentation and early band programs (e.g., percussion, recorders, mallet instruments) would be considered an asset to support potential curriculum expansion. Maintain a positive, disciplined, and nurturing learning environment that encourages musical risk-taking and collaboration.
