The Production Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and directing the daily activities of production personnel to ensure efficient and safe production of solar modules. Job Description Production Supervisor position will be responsible for execution of various assignments/tasks in relation to production plan / work order given from time to time and for efficient functioning of the concerned section/department as per instruction of the reporting authority. As an experienced and hands-on Production ETFE Supervisor he should oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our ETFE-based solar panel manufacturing line . The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of ETFE lamination, thermoforming, bonding techniques, and roll-to-roll processing , with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all production activities related to ETFE solar panel manufacturing . Ensure the correct processing of ETFE films , including lamination, sealing, and bonding to photovoltaic (PV) cells or modules. Monitor and optimize thermoforming and roll-to-roll processes for high throughput and quality. Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to implement new processes and continuous improvements . Train and lead the shop floor workforce in proper handling and processing of ETFE materials. Troubleshoot production issues related to material quality, temperature control, bonding, and delamination . Ensure compliance with ISO standards , safety protocols , and environmental guidelines . Maintain production logs, batch records, and quality control documentation . Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance of specialized machinery such as: Lamination machines Vacuum thermoformers CNC cutters Cleanroom bonding stations Maintain inventory of raw ETFE film, adhesives, and other critical materials . Meet production targets while minimizing material waste and downtime. Key Requirements: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Polymer, or Chemical Engineering . Minimum 5 years of experience in solar panel manufacturing, with at least 2 years working specifically with ETFE . Strong knowledge of solar module encapsulation processes , including flexible solar panel fabrication . Familiarity with fluoropolymer handling , cleanroom protocols , and automated production lines . Ability to read technical drawings , process specs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) . Excellent team leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills. Experience working with thin film, BIPV, or transparent PV modules is a plus. Strong communication skills in English and Kannada (preferred).
