We’re seeking a Software Architect who can take high-level business and clinical requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and elegant software solutions. You’ll work closely with our product, development, and clinical advisory teams to define the platform architecture, ensure interoperability, and design integrations that streamline everything from scheduling and imaging to payments and analytics. Key Responsibilities Architect end-to-end solutions across web and mobile platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and data security. Design system integrations for EHR/PMS modules (appointments, billing, imaging, patient communications, insurance, treatment plans, etc.). Collaborate with product and clinical teams to translate dental and orthodontic workflows into efficient digital experiences. Oversee database and API design , ensuring interoperability with third-party vendors (e.g., imaging, claims, labs, payment processors). Implement best practices for HIPAA compliance, data security, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Support full stack developers with architectural direction, design reviews, and scalable component patterns. Prototype new integrations such as internal payment gateways, AI-driven scheduling, or digital treatment tracking systems. Evaluate new technologies that improve system performance, data visualization, and user experience. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in software architecture, ideally in healthcare, dental, or SaaS environments. Strong background in full stack web technologies (React, Node.js, .NET, Python, or similar). Solid understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), microservices , and API-driven ecosystems . Experience with EHR/PMS systems or healthcare data interoperability (HL7, FHIR, HIPAA). Familiarity with payment processing , analytics dashboards , and patient communication systems is a plus. Strong communication skills — able to translate complex technical ideas into clear business language. Passion for improving healthcare through technology and user-centered design.
