Rubber Mill Operator

You will be responsible for operating rubber mills efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Starting up and shutting down the rubber mill as per established procedures - Loading raw rubber and additives onto the mill in the correct sequence - Adjusting the roller gap to achieve the required mixing consistency - Monitoring and controlling the rubber compound temperature - Inspecting the visual appearance of the rubber compound to ensure quality compliance You will also need to: - Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection - Adhere to safety guidelines for operating the mill - Identify and report any potential machine hazards or safety concerns - Perform basic maintenance tasks on the mill - Maintain a clean and organized work environment The skills and qualifications required for this role include: - Basic understanding of rubber processing and compounding - Ability to operate and troubleshoot rubber mixing mills - Knowledge of different types of rubber additives and their functions - Ability to lift and handle heavy rubber slabs - Manual dexterity to adjust mill settings and handle controls efficiently - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Minimum Qualification: SSC (Secondary School Certificate) OR Rubber-I.T.I - Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a rubber industry, preferably in the mixing department The company is in the Production, Manufacturing, and Maintenance industry.
