The Junior Executive – Payroll is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, and statutory compliances. The role involves maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with labor laws, resolving employee queries, and supporting the HR team in payroll-related activities. Key Responsibilities Assist in end-to-end payroll processing on a monthly/bi-weekly basis. Collect, verify, and maintain employee attendance, leaves, overtime, and shift records. Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements. Support in handling statutory compliances such as PF, ESI, TDS, Gratuity, Professional Tax , etc. Generate salary slips, payroll MIS reports, and reconciliation statements. Coordinate with finance/accounts for salary disbursements. Address employee payroll queries and provide timely resolution. Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data. Support audits and compliance checks related to payroll. Skills & Competencies Good understanding of labour laws and statutory compliances . Strong numerical and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas). Good communication and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / HR / Business Administration or related field. 0–2 years of experience in payroll/HR operations (freshers with payroll knowledge can apply). Certification in payroll or HR operations is an added advantage.
