RPC Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1. Project Execution & Proposal Support Plan and execute instrumentation projects related to oil & gas process control. Review and support the preparation of technical proposals for instrumentation solutions. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards . 2. Installation & Commissioning of Field Instruments Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of level transmitters, flow meters, pressure gauges, and temperature sensors . Verify proper wiring, signal processing, and integration with process control systems (DCS, SCADA, PLC). Conduct loop checking and function testing before system handover. 3. Calibration & Maintenance Perform calibration and validation of flow meters, level sensors, and pressure/temperature instruments . Ensure compliance with ISO, API, and industry calibration standards . Maintain calibration records and prepare compliance reports for audits. 4. Troubleshooting & Support Identify and resolve faults in instrumentation systems affecting process control. Conduct diagnostics and root cause analysis for sensor failures and inaccuracies. Coordinate with vendors for instrument servicing, repairs, or replacements. Technical Skills: Project Execution Experience in managing instrumentation projects in Oil & Gas. Installation & Commissioning Hands-on experience with level, flow, pressure, and temperature instruments . Calibration Strong understanding of calibration procedures for field instruments . Field Instrumentation Expertise in flow meters, level sensors, transmitters, and control valves . Troubleshooting & Maintenance Ability to diagnose and resolve instrumentation faults .
