Role & responsibilities Technical Feasibility Study. Product Design & Development with ProE - Product Routing creation for cost estimation. Responsible for BOM preparation, maintaining product BOM, material master/code creation & routing in SAP. Responsible for New Product Development Project execution (with Project Planning) with coordination with Production, Planning, Purchase, Quality, Marketing & Finance. APQP & FAI (First Articulate Inspection)- Handling the customers during FAI & audits. Interfacing with the Lead Plant & Customer, vendors/suppliers for communicating the design requirements, process requirements, drawings. Customer Specification review and comments - Compliance Matrix. Custodian of Drawings, BOM and Routing - Release and control. Responsible for Engineering Change management. Trouble shooting for quality NCRs based on the application knowledge. Responsible for all activities related to MOST. Responsible for data collection of production timing by MOST, analysis, MIS reporting & Industrial Engineering. Knowledge of process planning, capacity calculation, product costing & production standards including timings for new jobs. Preferred candidate profile Auto CAD, SAP, MS Office. Sound knowledge of designing, Routing etc. Knowledge of manufacturing processes viz. turning, drilling, Induction hardening. SAP, MS Office. The candidate should be a good team player with a very good attitude. Leadership Qualities & collaborative & team building approach.
