The company is one of the largest Rotary switch manufacturers and suppliers in India with over 40% market share, serving all segments in India and globally for the last four decades. They are currently looking for an Electrical Sales Engineer to drive sales and business development for their rotary switch products. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in electrical components, industrial sales experience, and the ability to establish and maintain solid customer relationships. This role plays a crucial part in expanding the customer base and providing tailored solutions to panel builders, distributors, and industrial clients. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within targeted markets for rotary switches. - Offer technical consultation and assistance to clients to understand their needs and suggest suitable rotary switch solutions. - Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and partners. - Generate sales leads and convert them into long-term partnerships. - Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and follow up on pricing negotiations. - Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to convey market requirements and feedback. - Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to shape sales strategies. - Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts using CRM systems. Qualifications: - Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in electrical components, rotary switches, control panel components, or electromechanical devices. - Solid understanding of rotary switches, control panels, circuit design, and electrical systems. - Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships in industrial or OEM environments. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory. - Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
