You will be working as an Export Specialist at Romen International Inc., an independent freight forwarder based in Canada. As an Export Specialist, your main responsibilities will include coordinating and managing the export process, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations, and handling documentation. You will be required to liaise with clients, suppliers, and customs officials to facilitate smooth and timely shipments. Your day-to-day tasks will involve preparing shipping schedules, tracking shipments, resolving logistical issues, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and manage the export process - Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations - Handle export documentation - Liaise with clients, suppliers, and customs officials - Prepare shipping schedules - Track shipments and resolve any logistical issues - Provide exceptional customer service Qualifications Required: - Strong communication and customer service skills - Proficiency in Export and Supply Chain Management - Excellent analytical skills - Ability to work effectively on-site and willingness to work in the second shift from 7:00 pm to 4:00 am - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Experience in logistics or freight forwarding is a plus - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred - Prior experience in the freight forwarding industry or with a shipping line is preferred Please note that the working hours for this role are from 7:00 pm in the evening to 4:00 am in the morning.
