Overview of Role: Rock Flow Dynamics are looking for a motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic reservoir engineer to become part of our engineering team. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of reservoir engineering, reservoir simulation, history matching, field development planning and optimisation. As a Support RE, the ideal candidate will be able to understand the technical challenges of an individual client, respond quickly to support requests, set up examples and custom workflows to enrich users’ experience, deliver technical trainings, and demonstrate the use of software to potential clients Primary Duties and Responsibili ti s: • Act as the technical focal point during testing and evaluation of software by prospective clients in various locations of India – onsite an d r emoely • Provide technical support for existing clients to ensure clients satisfaction with the software – onsite and remtely • Participate in conferences, events, exhibitions wh en reuired • Provide training to customers and employees w h en neessary • Accompany sales account managers during presale meetings to demon str a teRFD oftware Sk il ls and nowledge: • Experience of 5-10 yea rs in Reservor Modeling • Knowledge of reservoir modelling and simulation tools (i.e., tNavigator, ECLIPSE, INT E RSECT, CMG PETREL RE) • Desirable knowledge of surface modelli ng tools (i.e.,AP, Prosper) • Desirable knowledge of geological reservoir modelling tool s (i.e., PETRL, SKUA, RMS) • Ability to prioritise workload to mai nta in high customr satisfaction • Must be motivated and able to w o rk with team ad independently • Proven excellent client-facing and internal communication ski lls , with strong atention to detail • Demonstrated a bility to be a t ue problem solver • olution orientate • F lue nt English Eduation and Experience: • Chemistry / Mathematics / Pe troleum Engineer Bacheor’s Degree or similar • Preferable with a Masters or PhD on Reservoir Engineering / Petroleum Engineering Petroleum Geosciences • Experience as a Reservoir Engi nee r or Technical Support wt
