Robotic Welder Operator

As a Robotic Welder Operator/Programmer, your role involves setting up and operating robots to perform various machine functions. You will be responsible for reading, interpreting, and applying welding techniques to fabricate parts for manufacturing products. Your tasks will include writing and operating programs for Robotic Welding, applying welding competencies, and making fixtures for different jobs. Key Responsibilities: - Reading and interpreting program specifications to set machine operations and sequencing - Monitoring machine operation and comparing readings to specifications to detect malfunctions - Adjusting machine parameters for optimized welding in case of malfunctions - Collaborating with Production leader/Operations Manager to resolve machine malfunctions and production errors - Performing re-work or corrections as necessary to ensure product specifications are met - Loading and unloading materials manually or with hoists/cranes - Cleaning machines, tooling, and parts using solvents or solutions and rags - Mounting, installing, aligning, and securing tools, attachments, fixtures, and material on the machine - Performing manual welding during robot weld cycle if required - Setting up future jobs while the robot is operating - Adhering to all safety requirements and protocols - Willingness to work extended hours or shifts as requested Qualifications Required: - Basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand tools - Proficiency in welding techniques - Ability to follow instructions accurately - Experience in writing/operating programs for Robotic Welding - Skill in using precision measuring instruments Please note the job types available for this position are Full-time, Part-time, and Permanent.
