Role & responsibilities of Financial Head Financial Management: Prepare and manage the company's balance sheets. Oversee all transactions, including sales and purchase entries and billing. Manage dealings with various Government Departments. Perform bank reconciliations and oversee direct and indirect taxation. Handle other financial fieldwork as required. Import and Export: Prepare all import documentation and process payments. Liaise with Proof of Import and Bill of Entry. Manage export documentation and inward remittances. Handle Letter of Credit liaison and DGFT coordination. Oversee freight and forwarding and CHAs management. Reconciliation of all ORMs and IRMS against BOEs and SB with the bank. Compliance Management: Manage GST liability and payment procedures. Ensure timely filing of returns for indirect taxation. File direct tax returns with an optimum combination of income and expenditure. Ensure compliance with The Companies Act, 2013, and relevant industrial laws. Purchases and Dispatch: Monitor the need for raw materials and place orders. Conduct stock audits and comparisons. Coordinate with transporters for dispatch. Manage paperwork and arrangements for export and import. Development of Operating Procedures: Create and develop standard operating procedures for staff operations. Create and circulate flowcharts and develop worksheets for the staff. Develop action plans to improve efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
