The Role: We are looking for a highly motivated Scientific Officer Molecular Biology to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role where you will design, execute, and analyze molecular biology experiments, contributing to projects in drug discovery, diagnostics, and genetic research . You will play a pivotal role in generating high-quality data and ensuring scientific excellence. Key Responsibilities: Design, plan, and execute experiments in molecular biology and cell culture. Perform nucleic acid extraction (DNA/RNA), QC, and quantification. Conduct PCR, qRT-PCR, digital PCR, and cloning (restriction/Gibson/Golden Gate). Construct and purify plasmids; perform protein expression and analysis (Western Blot, ELISA). Analyze, interpret, and present experimental results to project teams. Troubleshoot experiments, optimize protocols, and ensure reproducibility. Maintain equipment and ensure lab safety and compliance. Stay updated with scientific advancements to enhance project outcomes. Qualifications & Experience: M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field. 23 years hands-on research experience in academia or industry. Proficiency in core molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, electrophoresis, etc.). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
