As a QA Engineer specializing in Inventory Systems at Oracle Retail, you will collaborate with a diverse team to comprehend business and functional requirements. Your primary responsibility will involve leading quality assurance efforts for Inventory, Supply Chain, and Finance projects. By implementing best practices, you will ensure that the Inventory platform maintains the necessary scalability and reliability to support the evolving needs of the business. Your key tasks will include ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and solutions, thereby minimizing production defects through well-defined test cases and strategies. You will actively engage with Oracle Retail Suite of Products such as RMS, ReSA, RPM, and RIB. Collaboration with other QA teams in areas like digital, retail, and supply chain will be essential for designing test cases and execution plans to guarantee thorough testing of functionalities. In addition, you will play a vital role in troubleshooting by applying solid analytical reasoning and collaborating with the Test Automation team to develop Automation scripts specific to the Inventory domain. To excel in this role, you are expected to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in designing and ensuring quality assurance of Oracle Retail Applications like RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB, and RSE services. Your expertise should extend to having a strong grasp and hands-on experience with Oracle Retail customizations. Furthermore, a good understanding of selenium-based test automation frameworks is crucial. While not mandatory, familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and web services would be advantageous. The ability to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative, and efficiently manage workloads to deliver high-quality results are qualities that will be highly valued. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Previous exposure to working with high-performance transaction systems will also be beneficial for succeeding in this role.,
