In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Sourcing, Costing, and Product Development functions across assigned hard goods within the Home category, specifically focusing on Dcor and Furniture. You will manage vendor relationships to drive profitability, on-time execution, and exceptional quality. Candidates must possess exceptional skills in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS PowerPoint, coupled with strong written and verbal communication and proficiency in spoken and written English. This role will require regular travel to various factory locations for vendor meetings. Responsibilities - Product Development & Pre-Production: Assist in managing product development from concept to production across furniture and home dcor categories. Coordinate the creation and verification of T&A (Time & Action) calendars. Prepare and update product specification sheets in collaboration with the design and technical teams. Organize and support Pre-Production Meetings (PPM) and Pilot Runs to ensure readiness. Track RTP (Ready-to-Produce) approvals and ensure all pre-production requirements are met. Production & Quality Control: Monitor and update production status across all vendors and product lines. Coordinate and review drop tests, transit tests, and other relevant product testing reports. Oversee labelling and marking approvals, ensuring compliance with buyer and regulatory requirements. Maintain and circulate assembly instructions, carton markings, and relevant product documentation. Audit and compile inspection reports for internal and buyer approvals. Address and troubleshoot any production issues in coordination with factories and internal teams. Sampling & Approvals: Manage photoshoot sample readiness and coordinate logistics for timely delivery. Maintain the photoshoot tracker to ensure sample accuracy and deadlines. Liaise with vendors and QA teams to ensure lab test compliance and documentation. Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear, timely communication with buyers and vendors at all stages. Update all parties on approval statuses to avoid delays or quality issues. Maintain and update the Production Tracker and Master Data Sheet for accurate visibility. Skills Required- 1. Proactively identify potential risks before they become an issue, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action. 3. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, including photographs, reports, and test results. Prepare regular quality reports and share them with the Quality Assurance Manager. Execute all the duties assigned by management related to QA/QC initiatives. 4.
