Job Title: Fitter – Cryogenic & Gas Systems Location: Risk Engineering, Bangalore Industry: Cryogenic & Gas Engineering Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fitter to join our growing team at Risk Engineering, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for field and workshop-level work related to installation, servicing, testing, and inspection of cryogenic and gas systems, in compliance with company regulations. This role requires a hands-on technician with strong coordination skills, a safety-first approach, and a willingness to travel. Key Responsibilities: Attend and record customer calls related to gas leakage, commissioning, and functional issues. Record and follow up testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities. Coordinate with suppliers for arranging fittings and accessories for pipelines and projects. Remove and refit safety relief valves; perform valve testing as per Rule 18 of PESO using test benches. Replace, calibrate, and maintain level gauges and pressure gauges. Conduct routine inspections at gas installation sites. Manage project contractors at site and ensure timely work completion. Coordinate with clients and internal teams to support project deliverables. Service and refurbish cryogenic vessels, pumps, and valves . Perform site measurement and inspection as per Rule 33 of PESO rules . Conduct pressure testing of pipelines and vessels as per Rule 19 of PESO regulations. Train peers and junior staff periodically on procedures and safety. Follow all safety and company compliance standards. Candidate Requirements: ITI or Diploma in Fitter/Mechanical or relevant technical discipline. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in gas systems, cryogenic equipment, or industrial fitting. Sound knowledge of PESO rules (Rule 18, 19, and 33 preferred). Experience in pressure testing, valve servicing, and gauge calibration. Willingness to travel and work at different project sites. Excellent coordination, recording, and communication skills. Positive attitude towards safety, clients, suppliers, and teammates. English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil preferred.
