Electrician - JD Role Purpose: • Safe, reliable installation, operation, PM and breakdown maintenance across welding lines, grinders, compressors, DG sets; statutory EB readings and energy logs. Key Responsibilities: • PM/BD of MIG/MAG, TIG, SAW welding machines, positioners/rotators, control panels. • AG4/AG7, bench/pedestal grinder maintenance (motors/starters/guards/cables). • DG sets (up to 1250–2500 kVA): start/stop, B/D check coordination with AMC, fuel yard safety, load sharing/synchronization. • Compressors (recip/screw): panels, soft starters/VFD, interlocks, condensate management. • HT/LT panels, ACB/VCB/MCB/MCCB, relays/contactors, UPS, earthing, lightning protection. • Cable laying, glanding/termination; IR testing (Megger). • Daily EB meter readings, track MD/PF/TOD; support PF correction via capacitor banks. • Maintain energy/DG/compressor/welding logbooks, PM schedules, shutdown reports. • LOTO, permit-to-work, PPE, machine guarding; vendor coordination & commissioning support. • Kaizens to reduce downtime & energy consumption. • Support fire systems and statutory inspections. Skills & Competencies: • Troubleshooting of ACB/VCB/relays/control circuits, welding power-source basics, reading SLD/wiring/P&IDs, VFD/soft starter familiarity, basic PLC I/O checks, strong documentation, safety-first mindset. Qualifications & Experience: • ITI Electrician or Diploma (EEE); B-License preferred; 2–8 years in heavy fabrication/utilities. Role Levels: • Technician (2–4y) vs Senior Technician (5–8y). Shift & Conditions: • Rotational shifts, shopfloor + utility yards, PPE, noise/heat/arc exposure. KPIs: • Uptime, MTTR/MTBF, EB accuracy, PF/MD targets, DG SFC, PM compliance, saFETY METRICS Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Experience: Industrial electrician: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
