Role Purpose The Knowledge Manager will be responsible for overseeing the knowledge management strategy and organization for CEES and A&I Ensure that information is effectively captured, shared, and utilised across the organization. This role involves managing knowledge resources, facilitating knowledge sharing, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. A key part of the role will be to build and maintain a living and breathing documents library, ensuring all resources remain current, relevant, and accessible. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our teams have access to accurate, up-to-date information through a centralised "single source of truth." Work closely with our SE team to ensure that there is clear alignment with our knowledge hub(s) and the user requirements across our bidding teams, sales support teams, practice areas and other enabling functions. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management strategy. Maintain and update the organization’s knowledge base, ensuring information is accurate and accessible. Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practices across departments. Conduct coaching and training sessions and workshops to promote knowledge sharing and application Collaborate with IT to ensure the knowledge management system is user-friendly and efficient. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives Identify and address knowledge gaps within the organization Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement Ensure a single source of truth for organizational data, maintaining consistency and accuracy. Manage and update living documents to ensure they are current and reflective of the latest information Requirements Building knowledge-based libraries in SharePoint or other tools. Proficiency in knowledge management tools and technologies. Strong understanding of knowledge management principles and best practices. Strong interpersonal skills, recognizing the importance of relationship building with different stakeholders (particularly important in supporting the development of new growth focusses across the various practice areas). Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with many audiences. The team The Future Energy Solutions team comprises a group of highly experienced professionals specialising in engineering techno-economic, and management consultancy services for the energy sector, with this role having a particular emphasis on the power sector.
