Job Description

Position Summary:

Rheumatologist

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis, and other autoimmune/rheumatic conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory and imaging studies.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and monitor for efficacy and side effects.
Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists for coordinated patient care.
Educate patients and families about disease management and prevention.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Participate in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives (if applicable).
Stay current with advances in rheumatology and continuing medical education requirements.
