Role & responsibilities Tethered Drone Production Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of experience in UAV/drone assembly or electronics production. The role involves building, integrating, and testing tethered drone systems including winch units, tether cables, power modules, and UAV hardware. Assemble and integrate tethered drone components (winch systems, tether cables, payloads, power units). Perform crimping, soldering, cable harnessing, and continuity testing . Support winch module assembly motors, gearbox, lead screw, spool, encoder alignment. Assist in firmware flashing, calibration, and drone configuration . Troubleshoot issues related to power, wiring, avionics, and mechanical assemblies . Maintain and create production reports, build logs, and SOPs . Meet daily build targets in coordination with the production team. Assemble and validate the system Assemble as per the SOP and work instruction. Meets the assembly target date given by Production supervisor. Ability to analyse and give corrective action. Responsible for maintaining Production Jigs & fixtures, tools. Responsible for Productivity, Quality and continuous improvement at shopfloor. Preferred candidate profile B.E / B. Tech Graduation in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electronics, Mechatronics Basic knowledge of drones, LiPo battery safety, RC systems, telemetry, and avionics . Knowledge in usage of soldering tools, crimping tools, multi meter , and basic assembly equipment
