As a Senior Python Engineer at Rezlytix, a leading provider of innovative solutions in the oil and gas industry, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using Python and QT. Your role will involve designing and implementing RESTful APIs, managing DevOps processes, and developing data visualization tools to support decision-making processes. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and maintenance of software applications using Python and QT. - Design and implement RESTful APIs to enhance data accessibility and integration. - Manage DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure automation. - Develop data visualization tools to support decision-making processes in the oil and gas industry. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. - Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred. - Over 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python and QT. - Strong experience in DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform. - Proficiency in API development using RESTful APIs and GraphQL. - Expertise in data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, and D3.js. - Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the oil and gas industry. - Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). - AWS Certified Solutions Architect. - Certified QT Developer.
