Responsibilities : 1. Designing manufacturing processes and products 2. Craft models and drawings of products using CAD 3. Research new product ideas and methods 4. Should follow effective modelling and drawing practice 5. Prepare BOM for Assemblies 6.The successful and timely delivery of all drafting and modeling work allocated 7. Improve existing products and processes 8.Find creative design solutions to problems 9.Present prototypes and designs to customers and project managers. Required Skills : 1. Experience of using CAD software; knowledge of SolidWorks is a must (Min. 3-4 yrs. Of experience) & AutoCAD will be plus 2. Previous experience as a Design Engineer 3. Knowledge of GD&T 4. Known Solid works modules (3D Modeling, Weldments, Sheet metal) 5.Drafting, Assembly Desired Skills: 1. Construction Equipment Design experience known will be an added advantage. 2. Advanced skills in software applications, such as Microsoft Office and Solid Works 3. Knowledge of types of raw material standards available in the market 4. Knowledge of standard Mechanical components 5.
