You are being hired for the position of Retail Category Manager for our client in the Retail Apparel Industry. As a Retail Category Manager, your main responsibilities will include creating an assortment and buying plan for each season, procuring products in line with the buying plan, identifying and selecting new vendors, developing products based on market samples and trends, and ensuring timely delivery by coordinating with vendors. You will also be responsible for managing the supply chain to avoid stock gaps and conducting regular data analysis to track stock movement. To be successful in this role, you should have 10-15 years of experience in a similar position. The job location is in Kolkata and the educational requirement is any graduate or post graduate degree. Some of the key skills required for this role include good written and verbal communication, proficiency in reviewing reports, and the ability to work full-time on a permanent basis.
