Job Objective: To efficiently manage all inward and outward material movements—paper reels, board, inks, adhesives, consumables, spares, and finished goods—ensuring accurate stock records, timely issue of materials, and proper coordination with the production, purchase, and accounts departments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Material Receipt & Inspection • Receive raw materials (kraft paper, duplex board, inks, gum, tapes, etc.) as per purchase orders. • Verify quantity, quality, and specifications against delivery challans/invoices. • Coordinate with the QC/Production team for material acceptance or rejection. • Ensure proper documentation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN). 2. Inventory Management • Maintain up-to-date stock registers (manual or ERP). • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations. • Track and report minimum, maximum, and reorder levels for critical items. • Highlight slow-moving or non-moving items for management review. 3. Coordination & Documentation • Coordinate with Purchase for stock replenishment. • Work closely with Accounts for GRN-Invoice matching and monthly reconciliation. • Prepare daily material-in/out reports for management review. Skills & Competencies • Sound knowledge of storekeeping and inventory control procedures. • Familiarity with ERP/Tally or Excel-based stock management. • Understanding of corrugated box materials and packaging consumables. • Strong coordination, record-keeping, and communication skills. • Attention to detail and integrity in handling material data. Qualification & Experience • Graduate / Diploma in Material Management or any relevant field. • 3–6 years of experience in stores or inventory handling in a manufacturing unit (preferably packaging or printing). • Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Tally, ERP).
