Restaurant Service boy

As a Steward, your role involves a variety of responsibilities including: - Cleaning and setting tables, and enhancing the ambiance with seasonal decorations, candles, and table cloths. - Welcoming customers, seating them, serving water, refilling glasses, and delivering beverages from the bartender. - Keeping menus clean and neatly presenting them to customers. - Stocking wait staff serving stations with napkins, utensils, trays, and condiments, and assisting the wait staff with service tasks. - Clearing tables efficiently and preparing them for the next customers. - Assisting in various cleaning and opening/closing tasks. - Scraping food from dirty dishes, pots, pans, plates, flatware, and glasses, washing dishes, and organizing them properly. - Contributing to the cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and polishing various areas like the restaurant, bar, kitchen, and equipment. - Transporting used linen to and from the laundry or housekeeping section. - Assisting with unloading and storing stock effectively. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 1 year of experience as a Steward. - Location requirement: Kolkata, West Bengal. This is a full-time position that requires you to work in person.
