Location: Remote (India) | Type: Full-time / Contract | Experience: 2–5 years About RAIF The Responsible AI Foundation (RAIF) is a mission-driven organisation working at the intersection of AI, ethics, and governance. We help organisations–especially startups and SMBs–adopt AI responsibly through research, assessments, consulting, and certifications aligned with global frameworks. About the Role We’re looking for a technically grounded AI Technology & Governance Writer who can blend analytical depth with clarity of expression. This role is content-heavy (around 60% writing, 40% research): you’ll produce clear, structured, and well-researched writing on AI systems, governance, and responsible adoption. It’s ideal for someone who loves translating complexity into insight–who can read technical papers, understand models and frameworks, and turn them into compelling, accurate writing. Key Responsibilities Write high-quality content including blogs, white papers, reports, and comparative analyses . Research AI tools, frameworks, and governance models to support content accuracy and depth. Evaluate AI systems using parameters like accuracy, fairness, explainability, and compliance . Translate technical and regulatory topics into clear, engaging narratives. Collaborate with research, consulting, and certification teams to align content with RAIF’s mission. Contribute to RAIF’s Knowledge Hub and research frameworks through content-driven insights. What We’re Looking For Strong technical foundation in AI/ML, Computer Science, or Data Science (degree required). 2–5 years of experience in AI research, writing, or analysis . Excellent writing and synthesis skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with Responsible AI frameworks and global standards (EU AI Act, NIST, ISO 42001). Experience developing comparative or research-backed content . ✅ Bonus Points Background in AI policy, journalism, or ethical tech research . Master’s or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field. Passion for the intersection of AI, governance, and social impact .
