Resident Clinical Services

As a healthcare professional at Aster DM Healthcare Limited, your primary responsibilities include examining patients and recording their medical history in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system with a strong emphasis on safety, compassion, and ethical practices in accordance with Good Medical Practice guidelines. You will also be responsible for requesting necessary investigations, documenting their results in the medical chart, and conducting daily ward rounds to monitor patient progress and health status. Working collaboratively within a team, you will follow the management plan approved by the registrar or consultant in charge and actively participate during on-call duties to ensure comprehensive patient management. Additionally, you will assist senior team members in performing invasive procedures, handle common clinical scenarios and emergency situations such as cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, and communicate effectively with the rest of the team. Your role will also involve liaising with the clinical services committee of the department, maintaining accurate medical records, participating in inter-departmental clinical meetings to facilitate comprehensive patient care, and adhering to quality indicators, patient bylaws, Turnaround Time (TAT), and departmental protocols. It is essential to strictly adhere to prescribed infection control standards to ensure patient and staff safety.
