Job Description

Cheenta Academy is seeking passionate and committed interns for a 6-month contract role in Research and Teaching for Primary Education. This position focuses on empowering rural communities and improving educational outcomes for children and teachers.

As a Research & Teaching Intern, you will be actively involved in:

• Conducting *training sessions for rural kids* to strengthen their learning outcomes.
• Designing and administering *evaluation tests for rural students*.
• Creating *diagnostic tests for students and teachers* to identify learning gaps.
• Conducting *research on community development* with a focus on education.
• Writing and publishing *articles (English and Bengali)* for Cheenta Academy’s website.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and impactful teaching sessions for rural students.
• Develop innovative assessment tools to measure academic progress.
• Work with local communities and contribute to research projects on education and development.
• Collaborate with senior educators and researchers at Cheenta Academy.
• Prepare bilingual content (English & Bengali) for online and offline knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Education, Social Science, Development Studies, or related fields (students pursuing final year can also apply).
• Strong interest in *teaching, research, and community development*.
• Excellent communication skills in *English and Bengali*.
• Ability to work in-office and travel (if required) for community programs.
• Prior experience in teaching, volunteering, or social projects will be an added advantage.
