Responsibilities Designing and executing a multitude of in vitro experiments in cell biology/ mammalian cell culture and evaluation by fluorescence (confocal) imaging, flow cytometry, styding knockdown assays by RT qPCR and western blot, ELISA and other cell based assays Establishing and executing various mammalian cell-based viability and potency assays, using reporter cell lines, primary cells, or transformed mammalian cell lines Preparing solutions and culture media Maintenance of multiple cell lines Isolating cells, proteins, particles, or analytes from experimental tissues or cell cultures Collect, analyse and present experimental data Maintain clear and complete experiment records on a daily basis Drafting/ revising protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Ability to work well within the team and communicate effectively Read relevant literature Support and foster a safe and efficient working environment within the Laboratory and ensure the safety of colleagues and visitors and adhere to all health and safety guidelines. Standard lab management and routine maintenance and troubleshooting of scientific equipment. Qualification PhD in Biotechnology/ cell biology/ molecular biology/ biochemistry MSc/ MTech degree in biotechnology/ life science/ biochemistry/ biology with 4 - 5 years of strong expertise in cell biology/ western blot/ RT qPCR/ mammalian cell culture and fluorescence (confocal) imaging, flow cytometry, ELISA and other cell based assays.
