Research - Economics & Strategy - FX Strategy Associate

As an Associate Strategist at UBS in Hyderabad, India, you will have the opportunity to be a part of the FX strategy team that collaborates with teams in London and New York. Your main responsibilities will include building and maintaining databases/charts for currency market analysis, developing quantitative tools and models to forecast currency movements, and contributing to the design and publication of FX research notes. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in Excel, have a basic understanding of econometric packages like R and Eviews, and be familiar with market data packages such as Macrobond, Bloomberg, and CEIC. Additionally, having a keen interest in International Economics and foreign exchange markets will be beneficial. Attention to detail, the ability to work under tight deadlines, clear communication skills, and a willingness to learn new technical skills are key attributes for success in this position.
