Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Research Analyst to join our Research & Strategy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity research, market analysis, and financial modeling. This role demands sharp analytical skills, a deep understanding of the Indian capital markets, and the ability to generate actionable investment insights for clients and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1. Equity Research & Analysis Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of listed companies across sectors. Prepare research reports, investment notes, and stock recommendations. Monitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments. Track company performance, quarterly results, and valuation metrics. 2. Investment Strategy & Insights Support the investment team with data-driven insights and recommendations. Develop thematic research reports on emerging sectors and investment opportunities. Assist in building and maintaining financial models for valuation and forecasting. Collaborate with wealth managers to provide relevant market intelligence. 3. Data Management & Reporting Maintain research databases and ensure accuracy of market data. Present findings through charts, dashboards, and reports to support investment decisions. Stay updated with regulatory changes and their impact on market behavior. 4. Collaboration & Communication Coordinate with portfolio managers and senior analysts to align research priorities. Communicate research findings effectively to internal teams and clients. Attend analyst meets, investor calls, and corporate briefings when required. Candidate Qualifications: 1. Education: o MBA/PGDM in Finance, Economics, or related field from a recognized institution. o Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or Finance (Compulsory). 2. Certifications (Preferred): o NISM Research Analyst Certification o CFA (Level 1 or higher) 3. Experience: o 2 to 5 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or financial services. o Experience in publishing reports and providing actionable recommendations. 4. Skills: o Strong analytical and quantitative skills. o Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg/Reuters, and financial modeling. o Excellent written and verbal communication. o Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. o Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
