You will be responsible for supporting the team in delivering the electrified powerpack and/or hybrid ICE powerpack NVH attribute for all vehicle applications. This role involves working on all aspects of powerpack NVH design, development, and delivery from initial concept design through to series production. You will analyze competitor information, conduct benchmarking, set and validate targets, and liaise with all areas of powerpack design & development, Powertrain, and Vehicle NVH teams. The team operates from component to vehicle level to achieve the NVH attribute using simulation tools, rigs, noise test cells, and vehicle testing. You will collaborate closely with the CAE NVH team, which provides virtual development tools to support NVH attribute delivery. Essential qualifications for this role include the ability to undertake NVH measurement and data analysis using industry-standard instrumentation and tools such as Bruel & Kjaer and Siemens LMS. You should be capable of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting test data, drawing conclusions, determining next steps, and effectively reporting and presenting work. Strong planning, organization, and communication skills, both oral and written, are required. Moreover, knowledge and experience of EV powerpack (EDU: E-Motor, gears) and hybrid (ICE, transmission, intake, exhaust, cooling) powerpack design and development for NVH are essential. You should have proven experience in problem-solving tools like Root Cause Analysis and 8 Disciplines of problem-solving. Desirable qualifications include proven ability in using quality tools, processes, and metrics for product robustness and continuous improvement. Knowledge of requirements authoring and management tools like DOORS, TRM/X-Ray, product development systems and processes, as well as the ability to search, analyze, and report benchmark information, are advantageous. Experience in Agile working principles and the ability to create/edit websites in Microsoft Sharepoint would also be beneficial for this role.,
